Inspired by African tech innovations, we imagine an ever-growing legion of learners, students, teachers, experts, thought leaders, entrepreneurs, communities and organizations, working together. To inspire, to explore, design and build. To bridge the digital divide and cleverly use technological advancements with one common goal: to shape the future of Africa.

The AI revolution has begun in Africa, and it’s going to enable us to do more than ever before.
We are committed to equipping learners with 21st-century skills, which will help prepare South Africa for the 4th Industrial Revolution and lay the fundamental building blocks to creating an inclusive society.
The AI in Africa Girls Bootcamp series is a social impact programme of Kgalema Motlanthe Foundation and Fliptin Venture Builder.
This exciting 3-day bootcamp is open to girls aged 15-18 from previously disadvantaged communities to create purposeful, high impact solutions that tackle challenges ranging from community safety to unemployment and education.
These girls-only bootcamps attempt to address the systematic exclusion of youth in a variety of 21st-century careers by offering a powerful platform to acquire new tools and knowledge, bettering their prospects at female digital inclusion and subsequently, socio-economic forecast.
We believe girls should be at the center of the changes technology will bring.
We aim to give them a head start by immersing them in this intervention. We believe that each girl should have the opportunity to explore opportunities in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) careers.
Raising the number of female professionals in STEAM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) is a key step towards creating greater gender equality, and creating a strong and diverse base of women who will be future leaders. We want to instill a mindset change in all of the girls attending the event, to let them know that they are the future and that they can do anything they put their mind to.
We know that there isn’t a shortage of ideas, skills and imagination in our communities, what is often missing is access to platforms to demonstrate these abilities. We are committed to affording youth from previously disadvantaged communities the opportunity to develop their talents and technical understanding through our bootcamps.
